Some venues arrive dressed. Others arrive waiting.

Many of the spaces we love most begin as something raw — a bare tent frame behind a family home, an empty ballroom stripped of personality, a lawn with nothing but potential and good light. What happens between that blank canvas and the moment your guests walk through the door is where we do our finest work.

These are a few of our favorites.

Ashford Estate — Private Residence, Sea Island, GA

The back lawn of this coastal Georgia property was nothing more than open grass with a water view. We brought in a sailcloth tent, laid a custom hardwood floor, and built the reception around the natural light — soft linen drapery, antique brass chandeliers, and an abundance of garden-style florals that made the tent feel like it had always been there.

The Orangerie at Middleton Place — Charleston, SC

A stunning but architecturally stark glass structure, the Orangerie needed warmth. We softened the space entirely with floor-to-ceiling ivory draping, cascading floral installations suspended from the ceiling grid, and candlelit tablescapes that turned the industrial bones into something that felt like a garden at dusk.

The Garrison House — Private Estate, Highlands, NC

This mountain property's covered porch terrace was charming but modest — stone floors, cedar posts, open air. We enclosed it with custom draping panels, layered in ambient string lighting through the rafters, and designed a tightly edited tablescape in dusty rose and aged terracotta that let the mountain backdrop do the rest of the talking.

“Even three years later, I still have people who refer to my wedding.”
