Laura Lyn Coody is the founder and lead planner of McLeod House, bringing over a decade of experience to celebrations across the Southeast and beyond. She began this work with a clear belief: that a wedding should feel effortless for the people at the center of it, no matter how much is happening behind the scenes.
Over time, she has built a team with backgrounds spanning florals, venue operations, event rentals, and photography—bringing a well-rounded perspective to every celebration. Together, they approach each event with both creative insight and a deep understanding of the logistics required to execute it well.
The team is particularly known for residential and tented weddings, where each element must be thoughtfully built from the ground up. With extensive experience in these environments, they bring a level of preparedness and calm leadership that allows clients to feel confident, supported, and fully present throughout the process.
